別によくね？この節操のなさ、読み替えのうまさも文化のひとつだよ。

日本くらい宗教関係なく一宗教の祭祀が経済活動に結びついてる文化ってのも珍しいんだし。
別にキリストの誕生日だろうがなんだろうがケンタを食う。
世のホテルというホテルがカップルで埋まる。
キリスト教徒でもないのに、それだけ世界経済に貢献してんだぞ？

言われては忘れる話かもしれんが、日本の場合12月25日って昭和初期から終戦まで先帝追慕日で祭日だった。一種ハレの日なので国家神道全盛の頃ですらイベント日なんだよね。贈答品のやり取りしたり…。
戦後その「ハレの日」の感覚が残ってるうちに、クリスマスがそっくり「ハレの日」として収まっただけとも言える。

本来的には家族で集まって…→盆正月にその機能は振り分けられてるから気にしなくてよい。

最近は知らんけど、40の俺が小学生の頃は、学校給食でさえクリスマスは奮発して骨つきのローストチキンとケーキを出してくれたわ
ご馳走が出てくるのは単純に嬉しかったけど、今思うとクリスマス文化のゴリ押しは凄まじいものがあったな

クリスマスにはターキーとケンタッキーを両方用意するようにしてる。
主に子供のためだけど、将来友人とケンタッキーの話をすると思うしターキーも
食べていれば海外に行った時喪失感を味合わなくて済むかもしれない。
子供の将来へのコストとしてはこっちも楽しめるので悪くない。
